Waste processing
Bredox specialises in processing anorganic chemical waste substances such as acids (hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide, chromic acid), caustic solutions (degreasers, caustic soda and caustic potash), salts, thin sludge, filter cake, cyanides and hydrogen peroxide. After analysing the waste stream, we establish the processing method that offers the best performance in terms of reusing (parts of) the waste substances. We are capable of processing both liquids and solid substances via a physical/chemical process, selective ion exchange or electrolysis at our production location. These processes are used to recover metals such as copper, tin, nickel and vanadium. Contaminated acids, from the galvanic baths in galvanising plants for example, are refined by Bredox to produce a variety of products depending on the exact composition.
Bredox can take delivery of waste substances both in small packages and in bulk. Bredox processes materials that originate from various industries such as galvanic and surface treatment specialists, the chemical industry, industrial cleaning and specialist companies that collect hazardous waste. In addition to using in-house production facilities, Bredox collaborates with multiple specialised processors in the Netherlands and abroad. Bredox holds an extensive set of permits and licences and is organised in accordance with ISO 14001. Bredox complies with European IPPC norms.
